If timed right, one can also catch the Siskiyou STAGE (bus line) one
direction or the other...  

BUT, it only runs on Monday and Friday...  leaves Seiad Valley at 4:47
PM and arrives Happy Camp at 5:12 PM, or leaves Happy Camp at 7:45 AM
and arrives Seiad Valley at 8:10 AM...  not sure of the rate, but it
should be $2 or less...

Can also go to Yreka from Seiad Valley (Monday and Friday only, again),
but it's an hour and 45 minute trip - and if you are even a slight bit
prone to motion sickness, take Dramamine or similar (it's a VERY
twisty/curvy ride along the Klamath River! - but also very scenic if you
aren't otherwise occupied)...  Yreka is a much longer, very difficult
hitch if not taking the bus BOTH directions...

The STAGE also runs from Yreka to ETNA and DUNSMUIR, too!  Check it out
