 I stopped and talked to the lady who runs the PO ,store and Summit Inn at Pass and she says rumors are true about losing the PO there. She did say though that hikers who make reservations to stay at lodge may have their boxes mailed in care of summit lodge. All other boxes will be returned to sender.
