[pct-l] Re: PCT advice

When I've got cold, sweet tasting water in my platy, I'm walking happy!

It's kind of amazing: I can head out for a walk around the neighborhood,
be out for a couple hours, and I won't need any water. As soon as I'm on
the trail, I'm constantly sipping water. If I run dry and there isn't a
water source to pump from, the only thing on my mind is my dry mouth and
how far is it from the next stream crossing or lake.

I'd hate to be constantly sipping on warm, chemical tasting water.

Comfort camping, or comfort walking?

The more you carry, the more you will enjoy your camping.
The less you carry, the more you will enjoy your walking.

IMHO, YMMV
