[pct-l] bounce boxes

I just saw this list and thought it would give you a good start to think
about what to put in your box. The answer is to mail anything you might need
in town that you don't want to carry OR something to resupply items you are
carrying (like bandaids) so that you don't have to carry lots.

batteries
    camera CR17345
    photon CR2016 (2)
    AA
batttery re-charger
photo card reader
sock liners
first aid supplies
    bandaids
    first aid creme packets
kleenex packets
Q Tips
contact solution
sports sunscreen (gel)
garbage bag / trash compactor bag
phone numbers
address labels / return labels
camera lens cleaner
mailers for photoprocessing

We shipped the box about 2 weeks ahead (rule of thumb). But if we expected
to need it earlier we guessed how long it would take us to get to that PO
versus how long the box would take to get there. You don't want to miss the
box! Remember to give the PO a temporary address change to forward your box
ahead.

BTW if you pay a little more you can send the bounce box Priority Mail. The
advantage is the if you do not open the box you can forward it on to another
PO for free. We bounced some gear forward thru many PO's before finally
taking possession of the gear in the north.
