[pct-l] Arriving into USA this Sunday !

Hello - normally I just lurk on this list but Yosemite is something I know a little about and I'll second just getting supplies from there. Between the grocery store and mountaineering shop you'll find everything you'll need. The Yosemite Valley grocery store has everything. Yosemite Valley is really a full service kind of place, shops, food, restaurants, post office but no gas station.

The small camp store at Toulumne has a small but good selection of hiker/camp food and the Toulumne grill is a great place for a meal after a day's hike. The burgers are good but their buckwheat pancakes are my favorite - perfect food just before a hike out of Lyell Canyon.

If it was me I'd follow dude's plan (except maybe the re-supply at Independence - I'd just carry extra from Red's Meadow in exchange for the extra miles).

Just my 2 cents.
YMMV
