[pct-l] We're hiking Washington PCT this year

I've done both routes.

The road walk is not fun, hard on the feet, and has no real views except
along the road to Stevenson and then the bridge over the river canyon near
Panther Creek. But, it is shorter than the trail and easy.

The trail is in good shape. However, in my opinion, it doesn't have fabulous
views. In 2000 it went through one terrible clear cut, probably no longer a
problem. Lots of ups and downs and much longer than the road. But, it is a
trail. And, if you took the time, a side trip up Table Mountain would make
it great.

For me, it is another section that I wish wasn't there. Would rather just
start at Panther Creek. But, guess I would rather do the trail than the
road.
