[pct-l] Old PCT marker on Ebay!

If it's still attached to the tree, it's not littering and there's no need  
to convince oneself that there is litter to be removed. In fact, trying to  
remove such non-litter will probably damage the tree as bark tends to overgrow  
the marker in time. Ask the USFS what they think about your digging that marker 
 out of the tree bark?
If it's lying on the ground (as was Joanne's case once), it's yours!
Considering different personal standards for individuals, if a "given  
person" wants the marker, he/she will justify (in their mind) taking it.
