I had wondered the same thing. The way it's written, it appears that alcohol
and esbit stoves do not fit in -- at least in Angeles NF. Btw, my original
quote came from the Angeles NF Web site, and I see that the fire
restrictions are now listed on the home page at
http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/angeles/
