[pct-l] Bear Repellant



Mark,

Thanks for the interesting references to bear spray.  I think I've seen
this, or something like it, before.  I agree with the bears.  I am very
attracted to jalapeno on foods but I certainly wouldn't want a
super-concentrated dose of it in my eyes.  My idiot dog has a similar
attraction to hot sauce.  Once I coated a no-chew item with it and he became
totally fascinated, but you know how discriminating dogs are in what they
chew, eat. or roll on.

When someone asks me if they will be safe if they carry a can of bear spray,
my usual answer is, "That all depends on how fast you can carry it!"
