[pct-l] Bear Repellant

I heard about an incident in Alaska where they sprayed a beach with  
pepper spray to keep the bears off the beach, but it did not have the  
intended effect. They came back to find bears rolling around on the  
beach like a cat does with catnip. Apparently, spraying it directly on  
a bear can be an effective repellant, but spraying it on a surface only  
attracts them.
