I grabbed this info from Rik's Trail Journal of 4/28, which reads "As the
San Ysidro creek was dry, I had to hike another 4 miles to Canada Verde." As
it is 4 miles from Barrel Spring to San Ysidro Creek, and he camped at the
water source, maybe he was mistaken. Since he's on the trail, I don't expect
him to respond, I'll modify the site to reflect the uncertainty, and hope
someone will have better info soon.
