[pct-l] Re: Entry to USA from Canada on the PCT

A couple of other questions:
What about Canadian laws about entering Canada via the PCT. I htink we were
supposed to contact the Mounties in Manning (and Waterton on the CDT).

About hiking the triple crown: the AT doesn't meet either the Canadian or
Mexican border, so you should start there. :) The Mexican border doesn/t
seem like a problem for thru hikes unless you decide to enter Mexico. At
Campo there is a wall so you cannot enter Mexico. At Antelope Wells (CDT) we
had very friendly border guards - no problems. The biggest issue seems to be
entering the USA at the Canadian border crossings.
