[pct-l] bagels and tortillas

I don't have any experience with stale bagels, but the tortillas we bought
in Belden in 2000 were a couple of weeks past their sell by date when we got
them. After we opened the package the tortillas turned into flakes. They
weren't even big enough to act as crackers.

We had pretty good luck buying either tortillas or bagels elsewhere along
the trail. If that doesn't work just buy a loaf of bread. It still tastes
good even if the shape get a bit funny.
