[pct-l] Hitchhiking to Julian, CA

Is it hard for two guys with backpacks to get a ride on Hwy. 78 from 
Scissors Crossing to Julian?  I called the NE Rural Transit (new 
#800-858-0291) and learned that the bus now runs between Julian and Scissors 
Crossing only on Friday and Saturday.  Is there much traffic on Hwy. 78?
