[pct-l] Hiking gear on planes

On behalf of airlines everywhere...thank you !! ;-)

I didn't word that well. It is the TSA's policy to allow new, unused fuel
bottles in checked luggage...but not used ones.

The problem arises if your baggage is subsequently pulled for physical
inspection after it has been checked in and you are no longer present. The
amount of luuggage that the screeners see each day and the pressure that is
put on them due to airline schedules and the like, can result in errors
being made...they may not check to see if it is new...or they may decide to
err on the side of caution...they are just humans trying to do a very
demanding and tough job...Has nothing to due with black helicopters and evil
governments..so check your tinfoil hat at the gate and start breaking the
prozacs in half..
