[pct-l] to PCT (Hwy 74) from Palm Springs

I am Moondancer, a PCT section hiker.  I've done more
than 950 miles so far.  When will i finish the entire
trail????

Anyway, I'm planning a PCT hike in May from CA 74 to
Interstate 10 (San Jacintos) and hope someone out
there can help me out.  I'll be flying into Palm
Springs the morning of Saturday, 15 May.  As it stands
now, I plan to hitch to the trailhead at Hwy 74 from
Palm Desert, after taking the municipal bus from the
airport to Palm Desert.  But if someone wanted to be a
"trail angel" and give me a ride from Palm Springs to
the Hwy 74 trailhead, I'd surely be most appreciative.
