The fire did burn down Hook Creek Road and into Deep Creek.  A large 
burning tree fell on the Splinters bridge and partially destroyed it.  
Pete and his crew have done repair work in that area and the trail is 
passable.
There is a large area in C14-C17 that is burned over.  The trail is hard 
to find/use due to post-fire erosion.  There is now short grass, 
wildflowers and sprouting at the base of the burnt chapparal in that area.
