[pct-l] Re: Sections J &K permit

Would like to continue my PCT segment hike from sections J (Ebbits 
Pass) thru section K. I live in Japan and want to know the easiest way 
to get a permit. Will not have vehicle support to run around searching 
out offices. Last year I picked it up easily at Tuolumne Meadows. Also, 
no need for bear canister, right? So do folks just hang food or sleep 
with it?
