Insurance - can't keep an existing policy going?  Try Fortis Insurance. They
have short term plans.

Registers - normally where you pick up your resupplies: post office, lodges,
trail angel stops, etc. They are mainly in California. For the most part,
you can't miss them.

Has anyone ever bought travel health insurance for their trip??  I've seen
many for international but not for domestic (at least not long term).....

Also, how do folks figure out where trail registers are located?  Is there a
list somewhere??
