Hello!  Just tried Nikwaxing my nylon hat for fun and here's the result:  
the thing works!!  Now I have a W/B hat to wear over my poncho for 15$.  The 
only question remaining is durability.  Does anyone know how long this stuff 
will work on a hat??  I might just do the same with the bottom of my 
pants....
