 Downtown Cabazon!! ( Hard Luck capital of Southern Cal!!)  The meaning of " Brown Bagging It"  takes on a whole new flavor there. I still laugh thinking of Fallingwater  coming out of the store after being hit on and Strider asking , " What was that"!  ( Also Hadley's fruit stand!) Get a Date shake and anything dried in the world
  South Lake Tahoe---- Regain all your lost weight in one meal from one of the many Casinos!
   Town of Chelan___ Take the " Lady of the Lake" boat from Stehiken down the Lake 55 miles to town of Chelan and resupply at their killer Safeway! Eat a nice meal at the Campbell House that night , get a room and take the boat back up next morning at 8:30 a.m. ( Cost is about 25.00 for the round trip) You are almost done with your hike anyway, why rush it??
