[pct-l] Crampons YES; YakTrax NO
I have used Stabilicers and after about an hour of walking in them up snowy
trails in the gulches by my house they stretched and twisted and turned. At
first they worked well on just the ice, and I was overjoyed with them and I
really stepped on all the icy patches, but if you get any snow involved on
the foot it makes the Stabilicers stretch and move on the foot.
Cheers,
Marge (the old gal)

you might want to look at Stabilicers. LL Bean
carries them, as do a few other sites.
