[pct-l] A Few Questions from an early starter...
True that you normally may not contact any of the trail angles in advance,
but sometimes there are needs that these wonderful people help out with -
water, injuries, etc. And if you are coming through at off-times, they can
help. At the Kickoff, you can normally get the names, addresses, phone
numbers of these folks. Maybe someone has a current listing. You never know
when you may need a friend. Also, these folks learn about trail conditions
from early hikers and post them for others (presuming someone calls them).
Much depends on your schedule.
