I've hiked (not on the PCT) in a rayon sarong. I liked it, but the dye
stained my skin.
I was just looking into skirt/kilt options for guys the other day. For
those of you uncomfortable with the terms skirt or kilt, they are also known
as male unbifurcated garment (MUG). There are a lot out there.
Utilikits has the best designs, but they only have cotton & leather kilts.
Maybe they'll come out with something for hikers.
