if i remember correctly, there was a guy a few years
back who hiked the AT in a kilt. he also attended the
trail days parade and was doing cartwheels during the
procession and was cited for indecent exposure. also,
some outdoor clothing manufacturer came out with a
"hiking kilt" about the same time.
