Or south to north, doesn't much matter. I don't think anybody's going to do much hiking in section K this year or for the next 5 years, for that matter. You're going to need a shuttle ride from Stevens to Rainy passes. The October storms wiped out the equivalent of Tully Hole to Mt. Whitney in distance, a grand section of trail with a fraction of the JMT's hikers, and a fitting conclusion to a 2600-mile marathon.
