i think you have the bushies all wrong,their just solving some problems with the p.c.t,look on the bright side.

take oregon for example,everyone complains there is to many trees and not enough views,problem solved! no trees= more views.

resupply can also be a problem what with those long roadless stretches,but thanks to relaxed new road building regulations,problem solved! more roads=more resupply oppertunitys.

dont forget the new grazing regulations ,more cows means your really gonna  get your moneys worth out of your water filter.

but the bushies should`nt get all the credit for the new and improved p.c.t.,out in california , the governater has heard our pleas and is ready to help.

overuse of the trail can reduce the wilderness "experiance",but thanks to the gov help is at hand, doubling the day use and camping (25 a night) fees ensures less use=more solitude and another problem solved! besides you'd just spend that extra money on beer anyway,and you know how bad that stuff is for you.(also, running into the help at the campground or beach can be a little awkward,no worries there anymore):) rob
