[pct-l] Umbrellas

I saw a lot of GoLite umbrellas strapped to people's packs in SoCal. They 
were hauling them, but not using them.  In most places you can always 
find some shade to hide in when you are resting.  Seemed like carrying 
an umbrella would only be good if you used it while hiking. But, the 
people with umbrellas were also using hiking sticks, so they couldn't.
