 Yes I love old stoves,,lanterns, books and maps!! ( Anything outdoor related that is older I enjoy) Good find Steve and yes I am jeolous!!
  Only thing I like new are the newer ultralight packs, tents and running shoes as they really make long distance hiking nice., BUT on easy weekend trips I still drag out the old stuff for fun. ( Next time out , try a pre-80's hike and dig out that old External frame, Svea Stove, 8 lb. tent and don't use fleece anything!) Go to Goodwill for cutting cut 30 year old wool clothing.
  I few days ago  I bought a " Mint" sky blue Gerry down vest at Goodwill by 5.00!! Nice ripstop nylon and decent down handwarmers on this vest. I don't know what happened to Gerry brand stuff ,but it is probably bought up by a floorwax company and made by 12 year olds working 18 hours a days by now. I look like a balding " Mork" now with this vest ,but still a nice piece of gear. ( If only I had a good pair of 30 year old Peter Limmer Boots)
