A couple of weeks ago some one put the following at that bottom of the =
post:
Spatior! Nitor! Nitor! Tempero!Pro Pondera Et Meliora.
Well that intrigued me and:
spatior = I walk
nitor = lean upon, climb
tempero = to observe limits
pro is a preposition governing the ablative, so I can't figure out what is
going on because next two words are accusative plural; so I assume it is the
short form of Proh! Oh!
pondera = weights, burdens
meliora = better things
Now I had help on this one but here is what I think was said:
I walk, I climb, I climb, I rest, Oh! the loads and the better things.
Or, if that is not correct, whoever sent it could please do the latin
translate.
