[pct-l] pct closures in WA.

Recently there was a very good story of the damage to the PCTat:

http://www.heraldnet.com/Stories/03/11/16/17709628.cfm

There is included a list of all trails in Snohomish County that are closed-
this seems to included about all of them of any size to bear a name. Of
course that does not include the trails in other counties, but it looks
like even the alternate trails that might have been used for next year,
maybe problematic as well( there was a mention of extensive damage in the
Wenatchee Forest as well). The first estimate is 10 million dollars and
they are talking TRAIL RELOCATION.

And some people were so unfortunate as to have driven to those trailheads
that are now isolated by washed out roads and landslides: they could be
helicoptered out but not their vehicles. Argh!

By the way, although the High Pass route sounds really spiffy sitting at a
desk and looking at the countours, it would be a lot like the Goat Rocks.
The route traverses over slopes above 7,000 for at least a mile. When I
was there in mid September one year, there was still lots of snow.
