Now if only I could find one of these unsung heroes to plan, purchase,
de-hydrate and portion all of my meals for next years thru-hike! :-)

down to the post office weekly for months on end, just for the sheer joy
of it.
I'd ask for money if I were you. Plus postage
Shelter Cove is basically just a fishing resort with a small store
with the
usual hydrogenated stuff that thru hikers learn to make do with. Kind of
a
7/11 out in the sticks. A very small 7/11. I sent a package from Ashland
and
supplemented it with store stuff.
