[pct-l] Cooking Pots????????

  I use the PCT popular 1.4 Titanium Everware pot I've had for three years. 
BUT , Trangia Website shows Alum.pot boils 2 cups of water one minute faster 
than Ti., BUT!!!! an Empty Denny Moore Stew Can is low and wide and holds 3 cups 
plus some and is cheaper than a Wally world grease pot. Go to Goodwill Dish 
and pot section and find a lid that fits or make it from card board and tin 
foil. Denny Moore can " Wins" cheapest pot race!!  
  Thru-hikers are reverting to early 60's scouting technology. ( Coffee can 
over a fire?)  Remember when we laughing at folks who didn't have " Real" 
hiking boots and wore tennis shoes on long hikes. And slept under plastic tarps 
instead of have a " Real" mountain tent? Now those misfits from every scout troup 
would be cutting edge ultra-hikers . Gramma Gatewood may have figured it 
right all along.
