[pct-l] shoes
Feet are complex; just because a shoe works for me does not mean it will
work for someone else.
I liked New Balance 735's, which were heavily ventilated, for the desert. I
believe keeping your feet cool and dry helps avoid blisters and the 735's
did this fairly well.
For me, they don't last as long as shoes made specifically for the trail.
The cushioning became too flat for my feet after 350 miles and I became
footsore on the pads of my feet.
I do not recommend New Balance Leather Country Walkers. The waterproofing
excels at keeping water in.
I also liked the Montrail Wasatch II, but not in the desert.
