I'd plan on a quick hike, nothing from 74 to the Fobes Ranch dropoff--nothing on trail.  The creek on the north side of Red Tahquitz will be dry.  It's possible you might find something on the north side of the meadow, but most likely not.   See my article in last month's PCT Communicator.  Thanks to BILL's Trailside Kitchen.
