The Pacific Crest Trail Association, headquartered in Sacramento, California 
is dedicated to protecting, preserving and promoting the Pacific Crest 
National Scenic Trail.  The following staff position is currently open:

Trail Operations Director - Pacific Crest Trail

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
? Interact with the Association's trail maintenance volunteers
? Work with federal land management agencies to identify and prioritize trail 
maintenance and trail protection needs
? Spend time outdoors and on the trail in California, Oregon and Washington

The Director of Trail Operations is a full-time staff position based in 
Sacramento.  Annual salary range is $35,000 - $43,000 depending on qualifications.  
Benefits include an allowance for health insurance, a contribution to a 
403(b) plan, paid vacation & paid sick leave.

We are seeking applicants with:  
? A Bachelor's degree in natural resources, recreation, planning, or related 
field
? Two years relevant work experience
? Experience working with public agencies
? Organizational skills
? The ability to prioritize
? Strong writing and speaking skills
? Pacific Crest Trail knowledge and experience
? The ability to work effectively with staff, volunteers, the public and 
agency representatives
