I have used a Marmot Pinnacle Gossamer (20 degree) bag for several years.  I have the same problem you do - the zipper gets stuck up with the cloth.
I try to run my finger between the air baffle and the body of the bag,  this seems to help a lot.

Except for this one problem I like the bag very much and would buy another.  I have had this problem with several other bags I have used.  It seems to
be the result of the design.
