[pct-l] Manning Park Closure

After several phone calls and checking the B.C. Parks Website etc. I called
Manning Park Lodge. I ended up talking to the Visitor Center where there
happened to be a Sr. Ranger in the next room. (B.C. Parks have a funny rule,
their Rangers cannot talk directly to the public on the phone). The Visitor
Center man relayed my question to the ranger and he gave the following
information.

"All hikers coming from the south on the PTC will be able to finish the
trail from the Monument to Manning Park.  There is not a problem with this
and they expect a number to come through in the next month or so."

You know when they quote heavy fines for being in a closed area I wanted to
hear this from
Someone in authority.
