[pct-l] Snoqualmie - Timewise Grocery/P.O Upheaval

While taking a zero day in Snoqualmie a couple weeks 
ago I was reading an article in the local paper over a
stack of pancakes.

Apparently the building used by Timewise Grocery & P.O.
is leased to them by the Washington DOT. The lease
expires in September 2004 and will not be renewed.

The PO will 'probably' be relocated but at the moment
no one is sure where. What will become of Timewise is
unknown.

How this affects the services provided by the PO for
next years hikers is also unknown. 

The Chevron has a mini-mart that has lots of stuff, but
no deli.

The good folks who manage the addendum for the PCT
guidebooks may want to explore this further.
