[pct-l] Shoes/boots percentages

Greetings,

I know this is an old and tiresome topic, but I have a simple
question. In the mountainous areas of northern California and Oregon
where snow is frequently encountered, what percentage of thru-hikers
in your estimate wear low-cut trail running shoes (or something
similar) and what percentage wear hiking boots (leather or
leather/fabric).
