[pct-l] Oregon Section C

Just got back from there. A few blow downs. Not really bad, just
annoying. The worst section was just after the FS boundary. Water is
pretty much normal, I guess. Ranger Springs was a bit of a joke but
enough slow moving water to get what I needed. I'd hit all of the marked
water sites. Much warmer than I was expecting. A bit buggy, too. The
Forrest Service and Park Service continue their great money saving
program by not wasting it on signs or trail markers. Most trail
junctions are marked, to some degree, and there is usually one, yes,
one, trail marker just past the junction in the right direction. The BLM
land from Ashland to Fish Lake was well marked and maintained.

I am leaving in ten days for a section hike of section C. from Fish Lake
to Crater lake. Anyone been through this area this year?? Trail, water
and bug conditions would be helpful. Thanks Steve
