Kelly,
I ran into exactly the same thing about five years ago
trying to cross into Canada. I gaffed it off and went
anyway, it's not like your crossing thru an official
entry point when your on the trail. I figured the
worse they could do is send me home anyway. I wouldn't
worry about it if I were you. Enjoy!!
