[pct-l] Bend to Willamette Pass

Snow shouldn't be a problem. There may be patches, but you will find the
trail just fine.

As for resupply places along the way:
Oregon isn't too good until Ashland. From Willamette Pass south, you
could go to Diamond Lake below Thielsen for the restaurant and some supplies
(not much). Then, Crater Lake also has a good restaurant and some supplies.
If you take the alternate routes you will come to some other resorts. Some
folks send packages to Fish Lake. Guess you could pace yourself to be at
resorts at meal time and buy meals. Don't expect hiker boxes to have much at
the time when you go through. If you aren't fussy, you could always buy
something at these resorts (either in the store or beg from the restaurant)
and get by. After Ashland (great stores), you can resupply at stores in
Seiad Valley, Etna, and Castella/Dunsmuir. Be sure to check the Oregon Guide
book for the alternate routes.

> My wife and I will be arriving in Bend, OR by Greyhound bus on July 28 at
12:30 p.m., and are in need of transportation to Willamette Pass. I would
like to be on the trail by nightfall. Any shuttle/taxi contacts would be
welcome.

Burney Falls. Should snow conditions be a concern at that time?

like to do it without maildrops.
