Rebecca,

I'll vouch for "Emma" and second the Ontario International Airport.
Ontario's a city on the south side of the San Bernardino Mountains, near the
I-15 freeway that crosses the PCT at Cajon Pass. In response to your
earlier query I was searching for a transit solution for you as well and
just haven't come up with something I was happy to inform the list with yet
(I'm just busy practicing run-on sentences ;-) )

Try this site tomorrow (it seems to not be functioning today)
http://www.scag.ca.gov/transit/ and see what comes up. (SCAG is the SoCal
Association of Governments; the website has lots of transit links)

| hi Rebecca,
|
| if you decide to start at Section D, fly into Ontario
| International and i'll make sure you get a ride to the
| trailhead. heck, i'm pretty sure you could snag a bus
| straight up I-15 but just in case you can't, keep me
| in mind.
