[pct-l] canisters in the Southern Sierra

> COOKED in a Bearikade????? Hunnnnhh? Darwin award nomination, anyone?

Yup. I can imagine the reasoning. The bearikade has a metal bottom where
the flame hits for good heat transfer. The sides are made using high tech
materials found in fighter jet... that must be durable, right? If you cook
it it you can save 5oz by leaving your pot at home. :-) This has happened
more than once. That is why the Bearikade folks have added the following
text to their FAQ about use:

7. Never use your food canister as a cookpot over a stove or campfire.
Service temperature of the high strength adhesive is from -67F to 180F.

Sigh.
