[pct-l] cottonwood pass?

Hola again.  I am just wondering if anyone has gone up
or down the cottonwood pass trail heading east from
the PCT just beneath Mt Whitney and Chicken Springs
Lake.  I am planning on entering from there come this
next week and I wonder if the road/trail from Lone
Pine is tricky to find.  Any experts out there?
