[pct-l] Forest Service new Demo -Fee facts out

The demo -fee program was passed by Congress in 1996 for a three year stay. 
It has been extended and is now due to expire in 2004. 80% of the fees 
collected were to go to improvements or maintenance in the area. Single day Pass is 
5.00 and an annual pass cost 30.00 The other 20 % was to go to cost of 
collecting fees and running  program.
   Figures for 2001 show 35 million was collected in fees and 15 mllion went 
into collecting them.  ( So it cost 42.86% to collect fees) Forest Service got 
363 million from Congress for recreation in 2001 ..
