I think you can get margarine in a tube or squeeze bottle. I wouldn't trust
the sticks unless it is in a bottle or well sealed container. But, that is
something I would buy on the way and not ship. You can pick some up at
Tuolumne and then at any resupply town on the way (Bishop, Independence).
Maybe even at VVR - write them to find out. I don't think the temperatures
would be too hot. You won't be out there that long - and if you are, just
eat the stuff.
But, why not take Olive Oil? or Cheese? (wouldn't send cheese - buy it).
