I'm looking for a sleeping bag with max insulation for its weight. I'm
currently altering my sleeping bag to remove about 8 inches of material from
the width (making it 4 inches narrower) to reduce weight and bulk. Still not
sure how comfortable this will be. I'm also doing away with the zipper since
if I'm too warm I can take off some of the clothes I wear to bed.
Has anyone used Marmot's new 900 fill goose down bags. They have one rated
to -10 celcius (I think about 20 fahreinheit) that weighs only 1 pound 13
ounces.
I'm also curious about Go- Lite's 3 layered sleeping bags. Anybody used
either?
