[pct-l] PCT Manning Park to Cascade Locks

Getting from Cascade Locks to Portland should not be much of a problem -
around an hour away. Hitching should be possible. Cascade Locks is a
friendly place for hikers. Just get there and ask around.

When to start from the North? Although the snow pack is down, we are now
getting lots of rain and cool weather. Unless you enjoy route finding and
snow, I wouldn't start until the middle of July at the earliest. August 1st
is probably better. Most likely to be dry, warm, and fewer bugs. But, every
year is different, so you will need to just take what you get. Be prepared
for heat, cold, sun, rain, and bugs. Expect to take about a month.

Enjoy!
